I started my career in Lancaster, SC teaching art to every 4th/5th grader in all 7 of the elementary schools in the city. I I moved to Columbia in the early 80’s and taught at Campus I-IMS, and then moved to Dutch Fork Middle. Estimated number of students that I taught in 31 yrs is roughly 23,000. Post retirement I spend creating art. I enjoy mixed media and acrylic painting.

My mom used to tell me that I could make a paintbrush sing & I’m happiest when I have a paintbrush in my hand.
